An open opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join a supportive organisation on a contract basis with a start date in the New Year. Position Details & Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a team responsible for banking and cash allocation processes.
- Oversee daily cash flow activities, including the timely and accurate allocation of customer payments to appropriate accounts.
- Ensure the reconciliation of bank statements and manage cash balances for multiple accounts.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including finance, operations, and customers) to resolve any issues related to cash allocations or banking discrepancies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive team performance and improve efficiency.
- Ensure that all cash and banking transactions are accurately recorded in the financial system.
- Provide leadership and support in handling escalated issues and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits, as necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in banking, cash management, and allocations.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and banking platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
