About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment lawyer to join a highly regarded Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team. Working alongside a high calibre team you will engage in high-end and complex employment law matters, providing strategic legal advice across a diverse range of workplace issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on employment agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Managing industrial relations matters and workplace disputes.
- Providing guidance on termination, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- Interpreting employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth).
- Handling litigation matters such as unfair dismissal, general protections, and breach of contract claims.
- 3 years + of post-qualification experience in employment law (private practice or in-house).
- Strong technical knowledge of workplace relations and employment law.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
