Position description
You will be report into the Finance Manager. Your daily tasks will include but not be limited to the following:
- Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts including daily consumer payments.
- Reconciliation of weekly payments
- Assist with month end and year end journals, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Reviewing and processing of scheme participant adjustments
- Attending to client/customer related queries
- Assist in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions where needed.
- Assist Finance team in ad hoc analytical tasks, reports generation and preparation
- Assist with the calculation/processing of credit and debit adjustments, refund requests and write offs
- Assist with the annual internal audit and external audit of the scheme
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to, with those relating to accounting and finance policies
- Documenting, vetting and if required, changing processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the role.
- Strong Excel Experience (specifically with reconciliations) and minimum 1-2 years experience.
- Ideally you would have previously worked with Oracle, however other ERP experiences are valued.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
