The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include but not limited to:
- Process monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, provisions, reallocations, etc.
- Maintain the Fixed Assets module in GP including additions, disposals and monthly depreciation etc.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Process consolidated BAS lodgments and PAYG monthly instalment payments
- Assist with budget and forecasting
- Assist with Management reporting
- Weekly & End of month reporting
- Assisting the team where necessary
- Tertiary qualified in finance/accounting (mandatory)
- CA/CPA qualification (in progress)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- You will have knowledge of accounting standards both technical and practical implementation
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential
