Our client, is after an energetic and passionate Accounts Officer to join their accounting team on a permanent basis. This role will focus on Accounts Receivable with a large focus on collections.. The office is based in Sydney CBD and offers hybrid working arrangements.
The responsibilities
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Full function accounts receivable including preparing, posting and reconciling sales invoice and monitoring aged debt
- Collections: Following up debtor payments for those overdue by email and phone
- Assist customers, suppliers and other debtors to resolve account related queries
- Bank reconciliations and cash management
- General bookkeeping tasks including BAS, GST
- At least 2-3 years experience in a full function accounts receivable position
- Experience with Xero (nice to have, but not limited to)
- Intermediate excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately meet multiple deadlines
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and manage client relationships
