This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable or Receivable Supervisor and/or Senior Accounts Payable or Receivable Officer looking to step up and manage a team of 5. The responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will include:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Accounts Receivable and Payable officers
- Manage customer accounts within assigned channels and maintain an overview of customer accounts assigned to team members
- Monitor and manage debtors aging to minimise overdue invoices.
- Ensure the timely processing of claims within established time frames.
- Ensure invoices are processed and approved in a timely and accurate manner by the team.
- Act as the primary escalation point for issues and concerns related to AR/AP.
- Assist with month-end closing and cash flow forecasts.
- Stakeholder management and business partnering
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Strong proven experience in supervising AP or AR teams and/or experience in AP or AR and holds a willingness to become a manager
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Month-end and year-end reporting experience
- Hybrid working conditions- 3 days from the office, 2 days from home
