Sharp & Carter is excited to partner with a leading logistics company located in the Western suburbs as they seek to introduce a dynamic temporary Administrative Assistant to their vibrant team. In this role, you will be accountable for providing essential administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within the logistics framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees.
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Liaise with customers via phone and email to address inquiries and concerns.
- Support the logistics team with order processing and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for all administrative functions.
- Assist in the coordination of shipments and logistics operations.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing and data entry.
To be a suitable candidate for this position, you will have proven experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, but this is not essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Passion for providing exceptional support to both internal teams and customers.
- Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office equipment and software.
