About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Officer to support our finance team in ensuring efficient credit management and collections processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts receivable, credit management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, collect, and reconcile a debtor ledger of approximately 550 customer accounts.
  • Oversee reconciliation and reporting on cash sale accounts.
  • Conduct debt collection activities, including escalation to legal status if necessary.
  • Perform credit limit reviews and recommend changes based on external agency assessments.
  • Assist in new credit account applications and credit insurance applications.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external banking partners to resolve queries.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including customer statements and aging trial balances (ATB).
  • Maintain a dispute register and assist with customer account registrations.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management, health & safety policies, and company guidelines.
About You:
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Credit Management & Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience in SAP is advantageous.
  • Commercial background. 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables & VLookups.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
