Position Description
You will work alongside like-minded team members who are passionate about their business' brand and customer base, whereby no two days will be the same! You will have a strong desire to ensure all accounts receivable functions are completed effectively and efficiently to a high standard. Your duties will include the following:
- Managing the national debtors ledger (approx. 1,000 customers)
- Bank reconciliations
- Daily allocating and receipting of payments
- Processing and checking all new credit applications
- Follow up overdue / outstanding payments - via phone and email
- Develop relationships and handle queries with both internal and external customers
- Fortnightly debtors reporting duties
- Manage refunds and customer rebates
- Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the close knit finance team
Ideal Candidate
Our client is ideally looking for someone with proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, with a keen desire to join an innovative and growing team and business. You will be an energetic & passionate worker who has the ability to confidently work autonomously and take ownership of the AR function, whilst possess strong negotiation skills and have a strong attention to detail. Additionally, you will have impeccable verbal and written communication, with an excellent ability to multi-task, whilst possessing strong problem solving skills. You will have strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude!
