About the role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead/Manager to join a large ASX business in Sydney's CBD (close to public transport) with the opportunity to work 2 days Work From Home. The role will involve mentoring & leading an AP team (2 AP Officers offshore), senior business partnering, and also have the opportunity to lead process improvement.

The Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support to overseas shared services to ensure timely resolution of operational issues or escalations (including having 2 offshore Account Payable officers report into this position)
- Troubleshoot various issues across ERP and accounts payable (AP) systems
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for any new AP-related systems or tools.
- Maintain the Limit of Authorization (LOA) matrix in the system in accordance with the approved LOA matrix.
- Plan and manage the migration to the new accounts payable/procurement system.
- Ensure KPI's are met.
- Work in partnership with overseas shared services and business process outsourcing (BPO) teams to drive efficiency, productivity, and excellent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience mentoring/leading junior accounts payable officers.
- Strong people interaction and relationship building skills.
