About the Role:
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Officer looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in a well-know global organization? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Client's Finance team. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and on-time payments to suppliers while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
✔ Processing trade and sundry creditors (including overseas suppliers)
✔ Ensuring only authorised invoices are paid
✔ Uploading stock and freight invoices and performing necessary checks
✔ Managing due dates to avoid late payment fees
✔ Handling EFT payment runs and supplier reconciliations
✔ Overseeing the Accounts mailbox and corresponding with internal and external stakeholders
✔ Managing team expense reimbursements
✔ Supporting month-end duties, including assisting with aged creditor listings and finance queries
✔ Assisting with audits and driving process improvements
About You: To thrive in this role, you will bring:
�� A degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field (or currently studying)
�� 2-3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume, fast-paced manual environment
�� Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
�� Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
�� Excellent communication and customer service skills
�� Experience with finance systems (Oracle experience is advantageous)
�� The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace
�� A proactive and solution-focused mindset
