Our client is a market leader within their industry and due to their success and culture they have become a desirable place to work. Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable officer to join their team on a full-time basis in Melbourne's northern suburb of Thomastown.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, they will not be exclusive to:
- High level of invoice processing on a daily basis
- Preparing batch payments weekly
- Uploading payments to the bank for approval
- Dealing with supplier queries or concerns
- Working within the AP inbox
- Some foreign currency payments
- Other ad hoc accounts duties
The successful candidate will obtain the following attributes; however not limited to:
- Will have years of previous experience within the accounts payable space
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders
