With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their supportive and high performing team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a small, close knit finance team, you will be responsible for:
- Processing creditor invoices, ensuring correct approval authority is followed
- Processing and reviewing employee expense claims into the expense management system
- Process Corporate Amex and taxi accounts, where relevant for assigned locations
- Set-up weekly payment runs for approval
- Run ad-hoc creditor reports as required to review and verify vendor and project postings
- Reconcile vendor account balances as required
- Correspond with and attend to queries from creditors
- Keeping creditor account details up to date in the finance system
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a similar Accounts Payable focused position
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise certain tasks and follow up when required
- Be able to work effectively in a close-knit team whilst also having the ability to work autonomously when required
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
