This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join an industry-leading business and manage the accounts payable function of the business. The Accounts Payable team consists of 18 employees. You will assist in centralising the accounts payable function and driving process improvements. The responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controler, the role will include:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 18 AP Officers, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
- Lead the AP centralisation and offshoring project
- Ensure invoices are processed and approved in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure payments are up to date and processed correctly.
- Assist with month-end closing and cash flow forecasts.
- Stakeholder management and business partnering
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Strong proven Accounts Payable management experience, with experience managing both onshore and offshore teams
- Experience in leading a centralisation and/or offshoring project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience
- A process improvement mind-sent.
