The Organization
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to take a step into a supportive environment and be apart of a large and growing business within the agriculture industry. As the Payables Lead you will be autonomously responsible for the Payables function, process efficiencies and projects. 
  
Duties & Responsibilities 
Being hands on you will be responsible for end to end accounts payable, including but not limited to the following;
  • Validation of data
  • Manage and process invoices, maintain aged payments ledger, ensure timely payment, perform reconciliation of accounts payable clearing account.
  • Process staff reimbursements, HEF and other bank account direct payments, client support fund expenditure, post journals, reconcile banking, assist with end of month and end of year processes.
  • Resolve issues arising from accounts payable and general accounts services responding to and resolving enquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Oversee and review procurement processes to ensure consistency and fairness. 
  • Provide advice and recommendations to management to ensure best practice procurement. 
What we are looking for; 
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement within a finance function. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
  • Experience in the support of procurement function and/or high-level knowledge of procurement processes (desirable).  
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
