Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Officer to join their team. Based in North Sydney, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The successful candidate will primarily focus on Accounts Payable, with additional responsibilities to support billing, payroll, and other ad-hoc requests. The Responsibilities:
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Processing Accounts Payable transactions and managing the process through to payments
- Overall responsibility for accurate Accounts Payable records for the group
- Ensuring cash transactions are allocated correctly
- Reconciling credit cards
- Handling administrative tasks to support billing (including data management and distribution of invoices)
- Providing ad hoc support for payroll
- Managing supplier inquiries and Accounts Receivable inbox
- Collaborating with other team members across several locations
- Provide additional support across finance as required
- Previous experience as an Accounts Officer
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive, task-focused, and adaptable
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
