Our client is an established market leader within their sector, through innovation and revolutionary product offerings. An opportunity now exists for a technically nuanced Accounting Manager to join their team during an exciting period of transformation. 
  
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will have broad responsibilities across management accounting and reporting, forecasting, planning and financial analysis. As the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
    • Period end close process for the business and the timely reporting of all monthly financial information and metrics and commentary on key movements.
    • Co-ordination of ‘bottom up’ build of quarterly forecasts and annual budget for the business. Contribute to the preparation of the Strategic Plan.
    • Perform financial analysis and ad-hoc ‘deep dives’ as required to support the understanding of business performance. 
    • Support commercial analysis including financial modelling and analytical support for commercial issues and strategic projects.
    • Provide support the preparation of Business Case papers.
    • Strengthen financial and process governance and internal controls to ensure integrity of financial data
    • Actively guide, train (as required) and mentor stakeholders and support a culture of financial accountability throughout the business
    • Focus on continuous improvement in business processes, procedures and finance systems
    • Co-ordinate business input to the annual compliance and audit processes
    • Leverage functionality in the ERP and provide finance support in the integration of other business systems and databases, and enhance reporting to improve business performance
    • Identify and implement Cost Efficiency initiatives
To be successful in your application, you will be CA/ CPA qualified with 8+ years experience in an operational environment. Ideally, you will be from a product based company and be comfortable working in a 'hands on' capacity. You will possess an analytical mindset that allows you to provide meaningful and insightful commentary to the Senior Executive Team.
