About the Role Our client is seeking a highly capable and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and contribute to various aspects of the business. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities including office management and executive support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office while supporting senior management. This permanent part-time position is based in Melbourne’s CBD and requires an on-site presence five days a week, ideally from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Key Responsibilities As the Office Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining an organised and efficient workplace. Your key responsibilities will include: Office Administration: Overseeing daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping. Meeting & Event Coordination: Organising and managing internal meetings, office events, and related logistics. Facilities & Supplies Management: Ensuring the office environment is well-maintained, fully stocked, and conducive to productivity. HR Support: Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as reviewing and updating employee guidelines. Executive Support: Providing administrative assistance to senior leadership, including the collation of monthly management reports and quarterly Board/Executive Committee papers. Project Support: Assisting with ad hoc projects as required. Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will bring: Proven experience in a similar office management role Strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritising competing demands Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work High attention to detail and excellent planning and organisational skills About the Client Our client is a well-established specialist hedge fund based in Melbourne CBD.
