Shane has over 27 years of experience in Digital & Technology recruitment, starting his career in Birmingham, UK, in 1997 before relocating to Australia in 2008. Since moving to Brisbane, Shane has specialised in recruiting for both contract, permanent, and fixed-term roles across Queensland's State Government and the commercial sector.
With 16 years of experience in the Australian market, Shane has built a strong network and a deep understanding of local recruitment trends. He has successfully delivered on a wide range of Technology roles, from Help Desk support to executive-level positions, including CIOs. His extensive background, having interviewed thousands of candidates and worked on hundreds of placements, has honed his ability to match the right talent with the right opportunities.
Since relocating to Australia, Shane has built an extensive network of Project Service candidates and professional contacts, along with a deep knowledge of the Brisbane market. Outside of work, Shane is an avid Aston Villa fan and keeps up with the Premier League, always following the latest matches and news. When he's not cheering on the Villains, he enjoys spending time at home with his long-haired German Shepherd, Bella Bear, who’s always keeping him on his toes, demanding snacks, walks and constant cuddles.
