The RoleThis role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, combining high-level administrative support with office management to ensure seamless operations. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the Managing Director, an efficient manager of day-to-day office functions, and an essential point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Diary management - taking control of the management of the Managing Director's complex diary Inbox management - drafting and responding to emails Screening phone calls, inquiries and handling requests Meeting and greeting visitors as required Account management - running the payroll via XERO and ensuring the loan book is accurate Supporting the Accountant and Bookkeeper with processing of payables and receivables Acting as point of contact between internal stakeholders Expense management and processing Travel arrangements (inclusive of flights, transfers, accommodation and car hire) Supporting the wider team and working collaboratively to share best practice, answer general reception calls, provide overflow and backfill support as required Skills & Experience Stable experience working in a similar hybrid role as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant based within a fast paced and busy industry Hands on and proactive attitude, adaptable at handling multiple tasks Ideally experience supporting payroll and general accounting tasks Confidence and experience in building relationships including managing key stakeholders Provide a highly professional, courteous and responsive approach internally and externally at all times Impeccable communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proven knowledge of MS packages including Word, PowerPoint and Excel Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines The Client Sharp & Carter are proud to partner with this highly reputable organisation to appoint an Office Manager/ Executive Assistant to support the Partners and wider consulting team during this busy time.This is a rare opportunity to join a business that has consistently gone from strength to strength and is known for their high performing and inclusive culture.
