The Position & The Organisation As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the strategic direction of the HR function while providing high-quality support and service across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will partner with leaders to deliver people management solutions, driving the company’s strategic and operational objectives. To thrive in this role, you will have significant experience in providing generalist HR advice, managing talent strategies, and handling complex HR matters including employee relations, succession planning, and performance management. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders on HR matters, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and talent strategies. Manage and lead HR services, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and legal compliance. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, guiding workforce planning and organizational development. Drive cultural initiatives that promote accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Oversee employee rehabilitation and return-to-work processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies. Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, management, or a related field (preferred). Demonstrated experience in managing generalist HR functions, including case management, employment relations, and talent strategies. Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and experience interpreting enterprise agreements and internal policies. Proven ability to manage and advise on performance management, talent acquisition, and retention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with leaders at all levels. Experience in handling WorkCover, rehabilitation, and return-to-work functions is desirable.
