The position would be suitable for a candidate seeking an exciting career in a dynamic friendly organisation where you will be rewarded in accord with your contribution.About the Role Oversee a large and diverse product portfolio where you will leverage market insights, customer trends, and product performance to optimise product offerings, enhance profitability, and improve customer satisfaction Support new product development projects from concept to launch through collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales Develop, execute, and maintain a comprehensive category strategy capable of delivering best value, quality, delivery and cost. Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders – internally to ensure alignment in strategies and execution of annual priorities and longer-term growth initiatives; as well as externally, as part of negotiations with suppliers Provide input into the business budgeting processes. International travel (2 or 3 times per annum) is required. Skills and Experience: 10+ years of experience in a high-quality category management or product / supply environment ideally in hardware, construction, engineering, FMCG or a similar industry Degree qualifications in business, commerce or similar required Analytical mindset and data-driven, strong Microsoft Excel capability Diverse skill set with proven stakeholder and project management experience to coordinate complex projects across all levels of the organisation.
