You will lead a team of 12 HR professionals and support an operations client group. You will be given the autonomy to drive success by providing strategic business partnering with senior leaders as well as developing and leading people initiatives across your portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring a positive employee journey. In conjunction with appropriate support roles (GM HR for example) undertake all levels of Industrial Relations, including EA bargaining, resolving disputes involving Unions and employee representative groups Responsible for advising other Departments on applicable Award and Agreement interpretation Support the site leadership teams with cost control and operational impact from HR requirements; know the cost impacts resulting from HR outcomes, decisions and requirements Maintain staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling managers on candidate selection; as appropriate conducting and analysing exit interviews; recommending changes – for both direct and labour hire employees. Performance & Succession: Establish frameworks for performance management and succession planning to drive motivation and growth. Leadership Development: Provide coaching and support to leaders, nurturing a culture of continuous learning. Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, including investigations and performance improvement plans. Change Management: Lead projects that embed organizational values, engaging employees in key change initiatives. Additional Responsibilities: Design and implement training programs to meet workforce planning and compliance needs and stay updated on HR trends, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives We’re looking for an experienced HR generalist with: A degree in Human Resource Management or related field 6 + years experience at similar level Proven experience working with blue- and white-collar workforces Success in building and embedding frameworks for performance, succession, and leadership development About you: You will thrive in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment.
