This entity is seeking a skilled professional to provide exceptional company secretarial and governance services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including listed, unlisted, and not-for-profit organisations. About the Role: Serve as a registered Company Secretary for client organisations. Ensure compliance with ASIC, ACNC, and ASX reporting requirements. Draft and lodge ASX announcements and other regulatory filings. Facilitate board and general meetings, including preparing agendas, board papers, minutes, and resolutions. Manage governance-related tasks such as declarations of interest, share issues, IPOs, and corporate agreements. Provide expert advice on corporate governance standards and practices. Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, legal counsel, and share registries. Support internal projects, including digitisation of governance processes and systems. Lead and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. About You: A degree in law, business, finance, or a related field. Chartered Secretary status or progress towards this qualification. Membership with the Governance Institute of Australia. 5+ years in assistant or company secretary roles. Expertise in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), ASX Listing Rules, and ASIC compliance. Experience in managing governance processes within listed, private, or not-for-profit organisations. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in drafting board papers and minutes. Proficient in IT systems such as Microsoft Office and Adobe. Effective prioritisation, organisation, and analytical problem-solving abilities. High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
