About the Role:A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer to join a dynamic in-house legal team. This role will provide employment, safety, and workplace relations legal advice to key business units, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Advising on workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance, investigations, and regulatory matters. Providing legal guidance on employment-related issues, including performance management, terminations, and workplace investigations. Managing discrimination law matters, including handling complaints, conciliations, and litigation. Supporting the business on industrial relations issues, enterprise bargaining, and regulatory compliance. Assisting with employment and safety litigation, including unfair dismissal, general protections, and workplace disputes. Advising on employment and safety law risks related to contractors, licensees, and third-party relationships. Providing legal support on business-wide projects, including workplace change, restructures, and compliance initiatives. About You: Admitted to practice law in Australia with a current practising certificate. Looking for a role which is Part Time - 4 days a week Minimum 5 years’ post-admission experience in employment and safety law Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety (WHS), Fair Work Act, and industrial relations frameworks. Experience managing litigation and regulatory matters across various jurisdictions. Ability to provide commercially focused, strategic legal advice.
