Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of automotive parts and materials.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet production needs.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments meet quality standards, and manage the resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct safety training, and ensure the warehouse environment is safe and compliant with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate and streamline operations, ensuring timely delivery of parts to support production schedules.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
