Sharp & Carter has partnered with an iconic manufacturing business that is embarking on an exciting period investment and growth. Due to the anticipated growth, they are now seeking a dynamic and high calibre finance professional to join their Treasury team.
The Role
The role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller. The core responsibility of the role is to drive, lead and improve the organisations Treasury capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and understand in detail the short and medium term cashflow forecast and its impact on financial performance.
- Monitor sensitivity and variance analysis models to increase the accuracy of the cash forecast process and to optimise liquidity.
- Provide support to the business for bank guarantees, performance bonds, letters of credit and other trade finance instruments as required.
- Manage the relationship with back office operations for cash management.
- Oversee treasury month-end financial accounting processes including reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Daily simulation and maintenance of exposure management financial model for foreign exchange.
- Maintain the foreign exchange hedging program including executing hedging transactions on a daily basis involving direct interaction with a panel of FX relationship banks.
- Ensure accurate reporting of all transactions including monitoring of valuations and performance of all hedges on a daily basis.
To be successful in this role you will have Treasury experience from a fast paced and complex commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills will need to be first class, allowing you to confidently liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, and develop strong professional relationships with those both above and below you.
