The Role
Reporting into the Group Tax Manager and working in a team of 3, the responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
• The preparation of tax calculations & returns at required intervals in
• Creating and returning statements and documents to the GMT by set deadlines.
• Multi-tasking managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
• Managing Portals and access requests to tax authorities.
• Preparing business income tax returns and statements for audits
• Assisting in financial planning
• Regularly reviewing systems and making updates and improvements where necessary
• Engaging regularly with main stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships
• Identifying tax risk areas
• Preparation of tax position papers supporting adopted tax treatments
• Application of strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations to business transactions to minimise tax risk
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- CA or CPA qualification
- 6-8 years post-university tax experience.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
