This newly created role involves leading and optimising the Operations Network across ANZ, including a complex warehouse network, with a strong focus on driving operational excellence through the integration of cutting-edge technology and automation solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to lead exciting Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, accelerating the organisation’s transformation journey. This high-impact role will be exciting, fast paced, and will be key to delivering world-class projects; designed to ensure a safe, sustainable, and high-performing supply chain for the future.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will focus on optimising Distribution Center (DC) operations and refining the logistics network strategy to enhance overall efficiency and performance. You will be instrumental in driving technology integration across the network, acting as a key conduit between IT and operations to ensure seamless implementation of automation and IT solutions. Your responsibilities include maximizing the efficiency of current operations, strategically planning and managing capacity, and ensuring compliance across all warehouses. You will also design and execute a long-term logistics network strategy, managing budgets, schedules, and project plans to align with the organization's future growth. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to improve process quality and operational compliance, while fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You Will Need:
- A background in FMCG/Retail DC Optimisation projects with a key focus on best in class technology and automation solutions
- Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing talent and teams. An ability to engage and influence the SLT is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with extensive experience in delivering solutions across technical environments.
- Excellent project management skills and an ability to prioritise and deliver within a fast paced operation.
