About the Role
A leading entertainment business is in need of a Settlements AP Officer to sit in their wider finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will be best suited to someone who has strong attention to detail, is accurate in their work, has good communication skills, and enjoys reviewing and extracting data from excel. The role is a full time permanent opportunity, and the business will promote career progression across their finance division.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities include:
- Prepare weekly settlement reports
- Settle and allocate large sums of money to correct suppliers
- Be able to escalate urgency if required to management
- Understand invoicing requirements and also be able to interpret costs to calculate gross (training and understanding in this space will be provided as it is specific to vehicle retail only)
- Be able to cope and adapt with demands that may vary during any given day of a week
- Analytical skills interpreting and coding/matching transactions
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Customer service orientated.
- Degree qualified, however not essential
- Intermediate excel levels, and comfortable using different ERP softwares
