The Role
Tax Compliance and Reporting:
- Corporate Tax: Ensure timely and accurate filing of annual corporate tax returns with the Australian Tax Office, adhering to domestic and international tax laws.
- Quarterly Reporting: Deliver quarterly tax reports for SEC compliance.
- Transfer Pricing: Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies that align with Australian and global regulations.
- Tax Consulting: Provide strategic tax advice to internal teams on business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions. Collaborate with the Global Tax Function.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay current with tax law changes and inform stakeholders of their impact.
- GST, FBT, Withholding, and PAYG: Oversee compliance activities in partnership with the Financial Control team. Offer technical guidance, support lodgements, and resolve potential disputes.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Leverage 3+ years of experience in corporate tax, ideally gained at a Big 4 firm or large corporation.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Australian tax landscape and its implications for businesses.
- Effectively manage diverse workloads while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality tax solutions.
