An exciting role with an ASX-Listed organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Senior Management Accountants' position will help provide accurate, timely and relevant reporting, analysis and insight to help to drive efficiency, productivity & improve financial outcomes for the business. This role will commence as a long-term fixed-term contract and then look to transition into a permanent role.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Prepare the monthly P&L’s for a number of sites
- Provide financial analysis of month end results for each site
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
- Examine financial records to check for accuracy and that they are in line with company policy
- Create KPI reports
- Meet month end reporting deadlines
- Assist with weekly forecast
- Complete annual budgets
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete asset stock-takes
- Complete FBT returns
- Assist with Income Tax
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
