Reporting directly to the Manager e Conveyancing Regulation you will be involved in:
- Providing and assisting with the provision of strategic advice to the CEO in their role as Queensland nominee on the Australian Registrars’ National Electronic Conveyancing Council (ARNECC), and on other matters relating to the entities regulatory responsibilities and obligations.
- Undertaking policy work
- Gaining exposure to commercial work
- Drafting and negotiating legal agreements
- Engaging with stakeholders on the operation of, and changes to, the legislative framework, rules, requirements and processes.
About you:
- Admitted to practice in Queensland
- Open to someone Part Time
- At least 5 years PQE
- Experience undertaking research and analysis and providing legal advice.
- Ability to prioritize projects and tasks efficiently, be flexible and able to adapt to changing expectations and requirements.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work well independently and collaboratively and with a focus on delivering results
- Knowledge of property law and legislative frameworks under which the Torrens land titling system and eConveyancing operate in Queensland.
