We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join the finance team of a prominent national organization based in North Ryde. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving financial accountability across multiple business units, with a focus on treasury accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own treasury accounting and month-end processes, including reconciliations and analysis
- Oversee financial accounting for the company’s international operations and employee expenses
- Manage online sales business accounting and legal provisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to month-end close
- Lead process improvements and standardization in financial reporting and systems
- Provide valuable insights and reports to key stakeholders
- Develop team capabilities and support leadership in achieving financial objectives
- 5+ years strong financial accounting experience, ideally in a large, complex organization.
- A deep understanding of accounting processes, treasury, and reporting
- Proven ability to build effective relationships across business units
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA membership (or equivalent)
