Our client is a large and exciting property business and an Australian household name. This role sits within a growing business function and this is a newly created position. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Commercial Analyst who wants to continue their career development by enhancing their modelling skills in a high-performing team and gain exposure to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to an experienced Commercial Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing forecasts, budgets, and business performance pack production for key stakeholders.
- Taking on a significant role within cross-functional project teams and contributing to Product Development through thorough financial business case development, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting strategic initiatives aimed at ensuring revenue and profit growth.
- Developing a deep understanding of the Group’s business drivers and strategic goals.
- Building relevant dashboards for each team as required.
- Identifying trends and insights from data, including key components such as over/underachievement vs. plan.
- Demonstrating strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Leading process improvements
- Handling ad hoc requests.
Our client is looking to attract an ambitious Financial Analyst who is CA/CPA qualified and has demonstrated success in a similar role. You will possess a proven track record of business partnering with senior executives and have the ability to effectively communicate financial data to operations. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential, with preferable systems experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
