Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
- Manage the processing of all accounts receivable invoices in the accounting system, including retail tenancies, apartment rentals, and intercompany recharges.
- Ensure rental invoices are raised 10 days before month-end and prioritise recharge invoices shortly after the 1st of each month.
- Collaborate with the accounts manager on cash receipt coding and maintain the apartment rental monthly reconciliation spreadsheet.
- Organise and manage all documentation related to debtor commitments.
- Prepare monthly reports on debtor balances, including claim summaries, reconciliations, aging balances, and cash flow forecasts.
- Work with retail managers to follow up on overdue payments and prepare financial reporting notes for quarterly requirements.
- Review monthly claim summaries and cash receipt summaries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist the finance team in compiling data for valuations and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Pursue continuous process improvement and undertake other administrative duties as required.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven payroll experience in a similar role, along with the following skills and attributes:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- The ability to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders.
- Impeccable communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, with knowledge of Xero preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
