They are looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join their Regional Victoria team.
About the role
As a Quality Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing laboratory testing, compliance, daily operations, and training within their quality department. Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, you will ensure the effective implementation of company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and food safety.
Supervising lab testing procedures and ensuring quality control, this role involves implementing and improving testing protocols, training lab staff, and maintaining lab stock and equipment. It supports quality and food safety systems like HACCP and BRC, handles quality concerns and customer complaints, and ensures compliance with UPLC operation standards. Responsibilities also include conducting hands-on chemistry testing, controlling product release, and maintaining NATA accreditation. Additionally, the role provides chemical training, stays updated on technological advancements, and trains employees in HACCP and BRC compliance.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a lab setting, with 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in NATA-accredited labs, HACCP, ICO and BRC.
- Strong skills in coaching and development of staff members.
- A degree Science or a related field.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience working a similar role within the FMCG space.
- Full working rights with ability to live in a regional location.
