About the role:

Sharp and Carter is proud to partner with this market-leading and Global Industrial Manufacturer. We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Product Marketing Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in product & marketing management and will be responsible for the lifecycle management of the products, from conception to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals. As well as developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the product range to our customers.


Key responsibilities:
  • Product Development & Positioning: Lead the development of new products, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
  • Define product positioning and manage the product lifecycle from conception to promotion, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Market Strategy: Develop and implement product marketing strategies to drive growth
  • Analyze competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement marketing strategies, campaigns to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market share.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on product features and benefits.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to discontinuation, ensuring products meet regulatory standards and performance specifications.
  • Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to inform future improvements.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales tools, presentations, and training programs that support the promotion of products.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies to ensure profitability. Also manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will posses the following:
  • 5+ years proven marketing and product/category experience in a manufacturing, industrial or construction industry preferred
  • Project Management and Category Management experience
  • Ability to build & leverage influential relationships across
    functions/business to deliver
  • Ability to build strong relationships, at various levels, both internally and externally.
