Our client is a rapidly growing food nutrition business committed to sourcing over 90% of ingredients from Australian producers with sites in Victoria and NSW. 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Procurement Manager will be accountable for developing and managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement costs and strategies, implementing robust procurement systems, mitigating supply chain risks, and supporting our client's mission of delivering high-quality, sustainable nutrition.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
• Develop cost reduction strategies
• Design and optimize procurement processes
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• Conduct data analysis and reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and other teams

To be considered for the role, ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

• 5+ years procurement experience (food industry preferred)
• Proven track record in supplier management and cost optimization
• Leadership experience is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems 
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is advantageous
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
