Your role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the design, execution, and maintenance of Azure applications and data integration pipelines connecting various systems utilised by our client. Collaborating with IT and other departments, you'll assess application and integration requirements, aiming to streamline and enhance data transfer efficiency and reliability across the organisation through automation.
Your contribution will be:
- Working within the Microsoft Azure technology stack to deliver effective integration between external and internal data sources and enterprise systems.
- Assisting in identifying business opportunities and improvements for stakeholders using industry best practices, latest product innovations, and technical solutions delivered by the Applications team.
- Building, maintaining, and consolidating a suite of custom Azure Power Platform applications, ensuring that they meet business requirements, are well-documented, and well-received by users.
- Building strong working relationships with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their application needs, and promoting practices and solutions that enable self-service and ease of use.
- Assisting in the design, support, and development of ETL and ELT data pipelines, Dataverse, data lake, warehousing, and unification assets.
- Delivering training and guidance to users to enable optimal system acceptance and utilisation.
- Working within, and in alignment with, defined IT strategic priorities and goals.
- Working in accordance with all data governance and data security policies, ensuring that users are also aware of such policies.
- Proficient skills in designing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimising integrations among enterprise systems.
- Extensive expertise in database management, SQL querying, and programming.
- Experience in building data integrations within Azure, utilising tools like Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
- Experience working with multiple REST APIs and semi-structured data sources.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365/Power Platform, including Dataverse.
- Proficiency in programming .NET solutions, encompassing C# and database solutions.
- Knowledge in various data integration techniques
- Great working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications in the field of information technology.
- Three or more years working experience in a data integration or general development
role.
