Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Advisor to join our client's growing team. The role involves overseeing a range of generalist People Advisory functions, working closely with leadership and management teams to ensure the implementation of policies, procedures, and practices. As an Advisor, you will provide advice, coaching, and guidance on employment-related matters, support daily HR activities, and contribute to key projects within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice to leadership teams on award interpretation, employee relations, performance, and other people matters
  • Collaborate with teams to develop first-instance solutions and escalate matters as needed
  • Champion the company’s culture, values, EVP, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain HR platforms to ensure accuracy and compliance with legislative requirements
  • Advise on findings from performance management programs and maintain organized records on HR matters
  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, offboarding, employee movements, and variations
  • Assist with updating company policies and internal process manuals
  • Contribute to company-wide events and recommend process improvement opportunities
  • Handle confidential information while adhering to privacy principles
  • Support planning for performance management and remuneration review processes
  • Respond to HR queries 
  • Contribute to Learning & Development initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to achieve project goals
  • Utilize the Project Management System (Asana) for updates and communications
