Our client is a retail icon in Australia who are leaders in their market. Our client is looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join their team permanently, offering flexible working from home arrangements.
The Role
Reporting through to the Payroll Manager, your tasks will include:
- Managing a team of 4 Payroll Officers
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing of approximately 4,000 employees
- Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
- Ensuring employees are paid in accordance with the relevant Awards, individual employment contracts and legislative requirements
- Month/year end closing
- Identifying process improvements
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Candidate Profile
You will have prior experience in a similar Payroll Team Lead position, along with the following attributes:
- High volume payroll experience within a medium / large scale business
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
- High level analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge of large ERP systems such as PayGlobal, SAP or Chris 21
