This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is available on short notice to join a meaningful industry and work in a payroll team. This role will involve BAU payroll. The company is also going through a project of leave balance recalculations so you could have the opportunity to also work in this area.

The responsibilities:
Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- End to end payroll weekly processing for 600 employees
- Weekly payruns and processing of timesheets
- Completing payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Handle relevant employee queries
- Assist with reviewing and recalculating employee leave balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Interpret various awards and EBAs related to the shift-based workforce
- Additional tasks to assist the broader team
- Keypay experience
- Payroll processing experience
- Proven experience in calculating leave balances with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience with award/EBA interpretation
- Ability to start immediately or on short notice- aim is for this candidate to start at the end of January.
