Our client has experienced a lot of recent growth, which as a direct result has led to an exciting opportunity for an experience payroll officer (seeking work four days per week), to make the payroll function their own and facilitate the business through their growth period. The role is extremely flexible with working from home and hours as well.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following, however not exclusive to:
- Processing weekly payroll for 120 staff.
- System improvements and developments.
- Payroll related queries and concerns.
- Processing superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
- Setting up new starters and leavers within payroll
- Dealing with differing EBA's and Awards
- Support rostering requirements
- Dealing with payroll related queries
- Has experience in supporting and coordinating “return to work” initiatives.
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes, however not exclusive to:
- Has previous dealings with processing payroll end to end
- Has experience in system improvements and developments
- Has the ability to work within a team environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
