Working with a well-known organization in collaborative, team environment, our Client is seeking a switched on Payroll Officer to join their team in a temporary position for 6-8 weeks.
Role & Responsibilities
You will work among a medium sized team and report directly into the Payroll Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Processing fortnightly payroll of 200 across Australia
- Interpretation and application of various EBAs and awards
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Additional duties to assist the Payroll Manager and wider team
The Ideal Candidate
The successful application will have relevant experience in a similar role, and a passion for payroll. You will have effective time management and organizational skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a willingness to be flexible will be essential for this position. Prior knowledge of SAP is essential for this role.
