About the Client:
Sharp and Carter have partnered with a prominent ASX-listed company for a temporary Payroll Officer, with the potential for a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, and supporting a team of 6, your duties will include;
- End to end payroll for 300+ employees
- Weekly payruns and processing of timesheets
- Completing payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, payroll adjustments and terminations
- Managing Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments and Workers Compensation payments.
- Handle relevant employee queries in a timely manner.
- Additional tasks or projects to assist the broader team
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Payroll, ideally within a mid to large-scale organisation
- Ideally you will be a personable and values driven individual, who enjoys fostering a supportive team environment.
- Experience with Myob or Xero desirable
- Experience and understanding with interpreting multiple industry awards
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills is very important
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
