A well known Not for Profit organisation is seeking a dynamic and values driven Payroll Officer to join their team. Bright and cheerful office, which is located in the inner Perth suburbs, close to cafes and public transport.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, and supporting a team of 4, your duties will include;
- End to end payroll for 500+ employees
- Weekly payruns and processing of timesheets
- Completing payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, payroll adjustments and terminations
- Managing Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments and Workers Compensation payments.
- Handle relevant employee queries in a timely manner.
- Additional tasks or projects to assist the broader team
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Payroll, ideally within a mid to large-scale organisation
- Ideally you will be a personable and values driven individual, who enjoys fostering a supportive team environment.
- Experience with Myob or Xero desirable
- Experience and understanding with interpreting multiple industry awards
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills is very important
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
