About the Company
The team at Sharp & Carter have multiple Payroll positions with varying clients at different levels. We have a range of fantastic opportunities if you’re looking for a new challenge. These positions will suit motivated Payroll Officers with a minimum 2 years experience who are excited to take the next step in their career.
The Role
- Accurate and timely processing of a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll for employees
- Processing of new starter and position change paperwork
- Calculation of termination payments
- Provide assistance and resolution payroll queries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner
- Preparation and lodgement of PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
- Ensuring that all payroll components are costed to the relevant general ledger accounts and reconciled
The Ideal Candidate
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- 1 years+ experience in a similar Payroll Officer role would be highly desirable
- Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills

- Attractive remuneration package dependent on experience (circa $70,000 - $90,000)
