The Organisation

Our client is an ASX listed global organisation who continue to expand their operations after a very successful period for the business. They are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll division globally (ANZ, Asia, EMEA). Responsibilities  

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the payroll team delivers to consistently high levels while driving continuous improvement initiatives and effectively managing compliance in-line with legislative requirements, policies and procedures. Your key tasks will involve overseeing a team of 5 as well as the following: 
  • Lead the Payroll team and promote best practice transactional Payroll service delivery
  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions
  • Ensure highest level of data accuracy and data integrity in alignment with systems and requirements
  • Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy
  • Senior stakeholder engagement with staff
  • Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiencies
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes:
  • Previous experience in full function Payroll processing having led a team 
  • Long term exposure ideally having used Oracle, ADP or another large system
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven process improvement initiatives
  • Global payroll experience would have highly advantageous
