The Organisation:
Our client is a large and well respected organisation who continue to expand their operations after a very successful period for the business. They are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll division in a role that sees you as a key player in stakeholder management and wider business decisions. With collaboration and new ideas encouraged, this role will be an exciting opportunity for those looking for their next challenge.
Responsibilities
The role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving:
- Developing, mentoring and leading a large sized payroll team of 10
- Overseeing the end to end processing of a large scale payroll
- Working closely with other divisions to facilitate process improvement
- Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals
- Provide ongoing training
- Ensure relevant Awards and legislation are interpreted as well as;
- Completion of other ad hoc payroll projects
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in full function Payroll processing having led a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- ADP experience advantageous
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Proven process improvement initiatives
