With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Standalone Payroll Manager to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role will focus on ensuring smooth payroll operations while contributing to process improvements and strategic payroll initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for 300+ employees, managing various EBAs.
- Work closely with an outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain administration of JobPac, EmploymentHero, and SuccessFactors (flexible on systems).
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation, and payroll tax.
- Resolve complex payroll issues and provide payroll-related advice to employees
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve payroll processes and efficiencies
- Play a key role in various payroll projects and system improvements
- Previous Payroll Management experience is essential.
- Experience in outsourced payroll environments preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex payroll issues.
- Knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and payroll tax.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate effectively.
