This business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll & Awards Analyst to join their team. This role will be working closely with the Payroll Manager in a high-volume, multi-award environment.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Interpreting and analysing multiple Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and Industrial Awards across a complex payroll structure.
- Reviewing allowances, penalties, overtime, and shift entitlements to ensure compliance.
- Identifying and resolving payroll variances and discrepancies.
- Ensuring accurate processing of time & attendance (T&A) data from Kronos into Chris21.
- Managing payroll submissions to STP and ensuring compliance with taxation and reporting requirements.
- Supporting payroll audits and compliance checks, ensuring employees are paid correctly under relevant EAs.
- Previous experience in high-volume Payroll & Award Interpretation using Chris21.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret EBAs and Industrial Awards.
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, logistics, or other multi-award industries preferred.
- Effective time management & organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
